With a past as ranger-trained safari guide in Eastern and Southern Africa; as well as tour guide in Ireland, Australia and South East Asia – I have now come back home to good ol’ Sweden and Stockholm. With my varied experience I can tell (and hopefully show) you some of the animals and birds in Stockholm. I will show you the Ups, and Down-Under and wonders (probably not spot any kangaroos for you though). But I definitely can take you to where the best Guinness is poured and walk you through the streets of our own ‘Chinatown’.
Flexibility is my key word and together with your wishes (the traffic, weather and time also taken into consideration) we will make the best and most out of your day/s here in Stockholm. I can tell you stories from the dark ages but also the facts and glamor of our stars in the limelight, from Bergman via ABBA to ‘acting-family’ Skarsgard.
I am very proud of our capital, and if you want to experience Stockholm’s proudness and Pride then I can share it all with you. You will for sure hear more about our Queen Christina, also portrayed by our other Queen, Greta Garbo. Stockholm is definitely one of the most open-minded cities in the world. Stockholm has no dedicated gay and lesbian area but the rainbow flag flies here and there throughout the city.
Do you like running? As a runner I have run up and down pretty much every street in Stockholm. I have checked off the Stockholm Marathon – and would love to take you for a jog in the city, but a walk is just as fine. If you want to find the best walking/jogging routes when it comes to cultural/historical/nature/scenic and fun aspects or just for pure training – I will tailor a suitable route. No matter: foot, car, subway, bus, bike or boat – I know my way around.
I am very much looking forward to hearing from you – and hopefully soon, very soon, to be guiding you in Stockholm – The Capital of Scandinavia!
