After a pleasant 25 minute boat ride from Stockholm City you reach the closest island of Stockholms archipelago called “Fjäderholmarna”. The island is open to visitors May – September. The four small islands have an interesting history dating back to the fourteenth century as well as a genuine restaurant tradition. Today you will find several restaurants and cafés on the main island. You may want to browse around the workshops of skilled craftsmen, visit a boat museum or even a whisky parlour.
