Irene Garcia Arnanz

I hold a degree in Art History and have always sought a broad and diverse education. I completed an Erasmus exchange in Italy, which deepened my interest in European heritage, and later obtained a Master’s Degree in Teacher Training, which provided me with valuable pedagogical tools for my work as a guide. Once in Stockholm, I specialized further by studying Viking Age history at Stockholm University.

Since 2005, I have worked as a professional guide in various countries, in Europe, Canada, the United States, and since 2013 the Nordic countries. This international experience has taught me to adapt to different audiences and cultural contexts. Since 2016, I have been a certified official guide of Stockholm, offering tailor-made tours on foot, by bike, by bus, car, or even by boat.

I am passionate about history, design, and architecture, and I love sharing that enthusiasm with others. My goal is to create guided tours that are engaging, informative, and well-researched—combining historical accuracy with a warm, accessible approach. I often add a touch of humor, because I believe that learning can be fun and that a good story is always easier to remember with a smile.
