Hello, I’m Joel and I’m a native Stockholmer. My tours are fact filled, fun and guaranteed to give you information about Stockholm you have never heard before. Rest assured, you can put away the pocket guide book and the map. Let me be your personal guide who can show you things in a short few hours that would take you weeks of research and years of experience to learn. It would be my absolute pleasure.

I’ve been a history buff of the city for as long as I can remember. I was already an explorer of Stockholm as a young teenager, the beginning of a life long affair. One of my first jobs was working as a tour guide at the Vasa Museum and the Drottningholm Court Theatre. You’d be surprised to know what the best preserved 17th Century warship in the world shares in common with an 18th Century baroque theatre. Tell me a bit about what your interests are. I could show you The Historical Museum and the Gold Room, The City Hall, Skansen, or we might spend a day discovering the Stockholm archipelago.

My tours normally require light to moderate walking, as I believe you see and appreciate much more that way. But should you require a private vehicle in order to cover a larger distance in a short time, this is of course possible as well. Not to mention tours by bicycle and boat.

When not giving tours, I run a travel company providing services for corporate clients, arranging meetings and events outside as well as in Sweden.
